In the AMBEV Brasil PamAm Observer Team in Toronto, we worked in a partnership involving multiple federal and provincial government departments/agencies, with a mandate to supporting the growth and development of Prince Edward Island exporters through a program of trade and investment related activities, providing event support, logistics, and matchmaking services.
Trade Team PEI has the support of, and is working closely with, the Canadian Trade Offices in Porto Alegre, São Paulo & Santiago de Chile to ensure that the Mission is executed with success.

The Mandala Group provided local support for an exploratory Mission in the Finance Sector, where financial cooperative services in Brazil, along with governmental officials from the Brazilian Central Bank met with similar Canadian financial institutions in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City to learn about their practices and create alliances.

This project included consulting in market entry strategy, event logistics, support, matchmaking services for four PEI companies in official trade/diplomatic mission to the city of Florianópolis in Brazil. In just over a week, our team was able to surpass the minimum number of meetings required and book all the local support necessary to make this matchmaking program a success.

Mandala provided consulting in market entry strategy, event support, logistics, matchmaking services for this Trade Mission to the city of São Paulo. This program from the government of Morocco was focused or the architecture and décor sectors and included 8 individual meetings per delegate, as well as 5 site visits. Delegates included government officials, Carana Corporation officials, as well as 10 non-competing delegate companies. Contract included hotel arrangements, interpretation services and local transportation for trade mission, as well the recruitment and travel arrangements for 5 Brazilian companies to attend the first Marrakesh Artisan Show.

Organized event set-up, support, logistics for the “Goal to Brazil” World Cup Promotional event for Arts & Culture and Tourism in Toronto to 150 targeted agencies and guests to promote the variety of destinations that Brazil offers. Multiple speakers and individual booths showcased all regions of Brazil. According to the President of Amazonastur, this was the best set-up they had for this global promotion.

For the past 16 years Mandala Group has provided event Support and logistics for the Brazil Pavilion for the PDAC Mining and Energy Show (with approximately 30,000 attendees in 2013). Planning starts about 4 months in advance with organizing the promotional material for 83 Brazilian companies, and booth and distribution points for one of the largest trade shows in the world. Responsibilities include local travel arrangements, international travel consulting, staffing, special needs as required, extra-show entertainment, translation, coaching and concierge services. This is a highly competitive environment for clients, miners, governments, media and industry associations with millions of dollars in deals signed.
